Established in 2001, Capital College and Research Center (CCRC) has made an effort to fulfill essentials for excellence in education and innovative learning facilities with cutting-edge methodology, distinguished faculty and a caring staffs.

The college aims to make the students achievers, problem solvers and winners in their intended fields and provides plenty of opportunity to the students to fully develop their personal caliber through exceptional educational experience in friendly, warm and disciplined environment.

The college was founded by a team of young, enthusiastic academicians and likeminded professionals with ‘Quest for knowledge with wisdom’ as its maxim. The college situated in quiet environment, in Koteshwor near Balkumari Bridge is well equipped and fully facilitated with its own infrastructures required for imparting quality education to its students.

The college offers two 10+2 program with affiliation to Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) and three years Bachelor of Business Studies program with affiliation to the Tribhuvan University (TU). Students centered faculty is the major strength of its educational programs and its faculty members comprises of highly experienced professors, textbook authors and renowned lecturers of the nation with intense intellectual commitment. The major characteristics of the BBS program in the college is the experimental learning techniques including business simulations, case studies, workshops and seminars, problem solving and team building experiences. The college not only focuses on providing theoretical knowledge but also impart practical knowledge to its students by organizing discussion programs, workshops and seminars on regular basis.

The college, on a regular basis, conducts workshops and seminars and some of the workshops it had organized are Appreciative Inquiry Approach, World Trade Organization and Nepal, Knowledge Management, Facilitation and Presentation Skills, Management Information System (MIS), Conflict Management, Gender and Equity, Participatory Learning Approaches, Training/Workshop Management, Disaster Management, Development, Business and Management Communication, Right-based Approach and Governance, Corporate Philosophy and Social Responsibilities, Research Methodology, Creative Writing, Career Planning, etc.

Capital College and Research Center also provides wide range of scholarships on the basis of merit and need.
