DAV College

Established in 1993, DAV College is an ISO 9001:2000 certificate awarded college situated in the Kathmandu valley. The college located in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, covers the area of about 33 ropanis of land. The college was established with the aim to provide West’s insightful education with the East’s traditional heritage to make their students competent, capable and intelligent.

The college which believes that given the right opportunities, their students can exhale in every aspect of their life runs 10 + 2 programs in science, management and humanities streams with affiliation to Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) and Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) program with affiliation to Tribhuvan University (TU). It has also started various kinds of programs with affiliation to IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) and is also involved in conducting cultural and student exchange programs with schools in the United States, Korea, Australia, India, Pakistan, United Kingdom and Canada.

Centered in India, DAV College aims to provide quality education to both, the Nepali students as well as the Indian nationals residing in Nepal. The college has adopted the modern techniques of providing education to the students by teaching them with the help of overhead projectors, multimedia, flash cards, etc. It has all the necessary infrastructures required for aiding in overall development of the students. Its facilities include huge and resourceful library, sports ground, hygienic cafeteria, computer and science laboratories, etc. Besides imparting education to the student inside the closed classrooms, it also conducts regular field trips, education tours and practical relating them to the subject matter of study. It also encourages its students to participate in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc.
