The only international standard 18 holes golf course in Nepal built to the standards of the golf courses in United States, the course at the Gokarna Forest Golf Resort lay just 10 miles away from the capital city of Kathmandu. Designed by David Kidd under the direction of Turf Grass manager James Leidd in conjunction with the Gleneagles Golf Department Committee, this par 72 – 6,715 yard course is one of the finest and most spectacular golf courses that will make your golfing experience memorable. The cynical monkeys and the spotted deer running about watching your progress and the majestic view of the snow capped peaks of the Langtang range makes your golf game all the over exciting.
Royal Nepal Golf Course
Royal Nepal Golf Course is the first and the oldest golf course in Nepal which was established in the year 1917. This club was and is popular among the late King Mahendra, former Royal family and the visiting foreign dignities. Placed beside the airport strip at Tilganga, the club not only provides the course for playing golf but also provides professional help along with practice facilities to meet the demands of the most meticulous golfer. This nine holes golf course holds 25 golf tournaments annually and hosts the only Nepal open golf tournament for professionals. The challenging golf course also provides the scenic views of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal. Yeti Golf Course
Located about 30 ft above the lush green gorge overlooking the Seti River at the Fulbari Resort and Spa in Pokhara, this nine holes course offers a challenging golf game to the golfers. Although it is only nine holes, you can easily do 18 holes without feeling like you are repeating yourself because of the presence of the alternative tees, pin positions and the greens. Himalayan Golf Course
Situated some 200 km west of Kathmandu and 7 kilometers from Pokhara, Himalayan Golf Course is a nine holes golf course located in a sprawling canyon created by the melting snow waters of the Bijaypur River. The golf course is par 73-6900 yard and the eleven greens present a visual as well as rewarding golfing experience.
Nirvana Country Club
Nirvana Country Club is located in Dharan, a forty-five minutes drive from Biratnagar airport. Located at the Nirvana Country Club Health and Golf Resort, this eighteen holes golf course is par 70-5990 yard and is playable all year round.
