Established in October 2000 in technical collaboration with Thai President Foods PLC of Thailand which provided manufacturing technology expertise to HSNPL, the company was incorporated with the objective of producing instant noodles under the ‘Mayos’ brand. The first head office of the company was located at Kathmandu while its first factory was set up at Banepa in Kavrepalanchowk district. With its present plant furnished with Japanese machinery, the company plans to further expand its production facilities and as an expansion plan, it set up its second production plant at Kamharia VDC in Rupandehi district in the year 2008.

Established with the mission of improving the best product quality, safety of foods consumption as well as having environmental concern, the company envisions becoming the best packaged food company serving international standard products for the utmost satisfaction of its valued consumers. The company, in a short period of time, has been able to achieve a leading market share in Nepal with its commitment to produce high quality wholesome products that meet the customer’s expectation and making each individual quality conscious and responsible for product’s quality at every level. It has also achieved national and international certifications like Nepal Standard (NS 138) and ISO 9001:2000, SFA membership, etc. which has also helped to create the highest confidence in their products.

The company has been manufacturing various brands of instant noodles such as Mayos, Mayos Shangri-La, Shaka Laka Boom, Ru-Chee, Lekali, J-mee, Hurray, Humpty Dumpty, Doharee Tayari ChauChau, Doodle InstaMix, Max Instant Noodles, Munchy and Jhilke and as the implementation of its plan for diversifying into production of other snack items, it has started manufacturing Cheese Balls under the brand name of Mayos Munchy. Understanding the need of its valued consumers, it has also produced other snack items such as cheese rings, puff, etc.
