The best thing about the garden is that you can pluck the fruits yourself if you want to have them or ask the staff to pick them up for you. The fruits grown in the hotel garden consist of mangoes, guavas, jackfruits, litchis, blackberries, etc.

The paved crisscross tracks pass through the garden connecting the living blocks, gazebos and kitchen. The tracks provide a perfect platform for the joggers and morning walkers with the flowers planted along the edges on both sides of the tracks. The light from the lamp posts makes the path all the more pleasant to walk in the evenings. There are also comfortable wooden chairs under the garden’s patio set where you can recline with your beverages and snacks feeling the cool breeze during the summers.

Also there is a bar inside one of the well furnished gazebos with tin roof and tiled floor where you can sip your beer or enjoy the wine. The double storied living blocks have four rooms and each room has one standard and one queen size bed along with comfortable furnishings and attached toilet and bathroom with twenty four hour running hot and cold water. The well lit and spacious rooms have wide windows and in each block, the ground floor has a verandah and the floor above has a balcony from where you can look out over the garden. There is also a wide dining area and a large kitchen that are capable of hosting gatherings, also, the kitchen staff is well skilled at cooking traditional Nepali food as well as continental cuisine. The best thing about dining here is that the staffs generally checks with you before each breakfast, lunch and dinner for your preference.

It is easily assessable from Kathmandu by land, air or even water. The bus ride only takes about five hours and you will not be bored as the journey to Hotel Parkland accompanied by the beautiful sceneries outside. Also, daily flights from Kathmandu to Bharatpur are available which takes you there in about twenty five minutes. The most exciting way, however, is rafting from Charaundi or Phisling to Gaighat where the Parkland’s will be awaiting you to take you to the Hotel.
