Established formerly as Informatics College in the year 1997, Islington College is an autonomous private education institution dedicated to excellent academic performance and student experience. The college was also considered as Best Center in Growth Performance and Best Center in Academic Performance by the main board. The college that has gained direct affiliation with the universities in UK, Informatics or Islington College is dedicated to providing quality international education to its students. The college offers Bachelors degree in Computing: Computer Networking and IT Security and Multimedia Technologies programs with affiliation to London Metropolitan University (LondonMet) and many other similar courses. This affiliation allows the students the privilege to choose to study the course here in Nepal or in LondonMet’s North London Campus.

The college also has agreement with the University of Northampton which enables the students to study the final year of their B Sc (Hons) Computing Program in Northampton. The college changed its name to Islington College in the year 2011 following the new partnerships with the UK universities and also the appointment of senior executives who have the experience of teaching at top UK universities. LondonMet is one of the largest universities in London with buildings spread throughout the center of London and thousands of international students enrolling from more than 155 countries.

The college provides various courses for undergraduate and post graduate studies including computer networking, information security, electronic engineering, mathematics and statistics, a suite of computing and business systems courses, computer animation, games and multimedia.
