Kanjirowa National Higher Secondary School was initially started as Don Bosco College in the year 1998. The college, since its establishment, has been providing quality education to the students and in the process, it has also been successful to create a reputation for itself in the education sector of the country.

The institution that was originally established as higher secondary school has grown extensively, over the period of time, with its programs affiliated to various universities as well as its specialized primary section of Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School. The college has also started MBA and BBA programs which has been successful to garner interest from large number of students. The school wing of the college has garnered huge interest from people with its outstanding results in SLC examinations which led to the school being re-branded as Kanjirowa National School.

The school has its own building in Koteshwor, Kathmandu where it provides all the basic facilities required for imparting quality education to the students. The name of the school was changed to Kanjirowa from Don Bosco in order to give it a complete Nepali national name.
