Established in the year 1988, Lord Buddha Education Foundation has grown into an established institution with excellent infrastructures and facilities from the humble beginner that it was. Located at the opposite side of the Maitidevi temple in Kathmandu, the college has made a rapid progress in the field of education and has been successful in becoming one of the first choices of the students.

The college offers various programs including the courses like Bio-Tech laboratories, BSC (IT), BCA, BSC (NT), MSC (IT), MSC (CS), MSC (IT), MBA, BBA, BSC (Fashion Design), MSC (BT) with affiliation to the MCRPS University and SMU University of India, both of which are recognized by Tribhuvan University as well as Kathmandu University. The college was established with the major objective of imparting an education leading to the harmonious development of the all round personality of the student, to make them fully realistic and truly modern. It offers three years Bachelor degree course and two years Masters Degree course and it has also been successful to open up a college in Lalitpur, in front of the Korean embassy in Bakhundole and also in Janakpur.
