One of the largest A class commercial bank in Nepal, Mega Bank Nepal Limited was started with authorized capital of Rs 4.00 billion and an issued capital of Rs 2.33 billion. The bank is being promoted by 1219 promoters spread across 63 of Nepal’s 75 districts who have a vision to make it a catalyst for the promotion of financial inclusion in Nepal. The Chairperson of the bank Prof. Dr. Madan Kumar Dahal is a senior economist of Nepal holding a Doctorate Degree in Economics. He is well respected in South Asian region for his contributions and analytical papers on national, regional and international economic issues.
