With the objective of imparting quality education to the students, Motherland Higher Secondary School (MHSS) was established in the year 2051 BS. Initially established as Motherland English School, the school has upgraded to Motherland Higher Secondary School through its commitment and dedication to quality education and services. The school, because of its tremendous success in academic field, has been successful to establish itself as a first choice school of large number of students.

The school credits the students, parents and their trust in it for making it able to start classes for higher secondary level as the school that initially started classes for grade 11 and 12 in management stream soon commenced classes on science stream as well with affiliation to Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB). Moreover, the college’s higher secondary level program in management stream has become quite popular among the students because of it having an appropriate and conducive environment along with having Information and Communication Technology courses. The school that also received the Best School award of Kaski district in the year 2068 is committed to provide excellent and high standard educational services to the students. With the objective of fulfilling the needs of smaller children who are nimble, tender and dynamic by nature, the school has also set up a primary school known as Motherland English School at Parsyang in Pokhara.
