Nepal College of Information Technology
Established in the year 2001, Nepal College of Information Technology, popularly known as NCIT, has been committed to provide high end state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) related education in the country. Since its establishment, the college has been successful to represent itself as a renowned college of IT in Nepal. It has evolved as a highly respected educational center with a strong commitment to provide quality education to its students. In addition to its regular engineering programs, it has also added Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) programs from 2012.
It aims to make the students responsible and disciplined and help them learn the time management. The college and the faculty share regular interactions with each of the students and help them realize their value. ‘Everybody’ (meaning every student) here, is treated as ‘somebody’.
It was established with a vision of imparting best knowledge and skills to the aspirant students. It does not believe in simply delivery the lectures to the students rather it emphasizes on making the classes interactive, lively and inspiring. During their time in the college, it focuses on making the students understand the concept, capability and confidence they have in order to accept and overcome challenges in their lives.
It believes in widening and strengthening the knowledge horizon in depth and expanding the scope of knowledge the students acquire making them physically fit, morally good and academically sound rather than simply awarding the degrees to them.
Affiliated to the Pokhara University, the programs is offers are two years courses like Masters in Computer Science, M.E. in Computer Engineering and Masters in Computer and Information System (MCIS). Its four years programs include B.E. Electronics and Communication, B.E. Computer, B.E. Information Technology, B.E. Civil (proposed) and B.B.A. About thirty teachers and the faculty members working here to impart quality education to the students help in making the interactions between the students and teachers better.
