Nepal Medical College (NMC)

Nepal medical college is a Kathmandu University affiliated and Nepal medical council recognized college which has started its journey through MBBS program in 1997. Located in Attarkhel in Jorpati, Kathmandu, it is a prime centre for studies of medical sciences. It mainly emphasize in the clinical disciples so as to produce a well-experienced and qualified sectors that will provide Health facilities to the Nepalese as well as abroad people in a better way.



Set up with goals and vision of playing a crucial role in the implementation of health facilities to all people visiting here, to conduct researches health facilities and to produce a competent, socially responsible and professional doctors, who will be able to cope with the changing and emerging challenges related to health care system, this institute runs several program related to both medical and paramedical course. The medical course includes MBBS, BDS, BSC Nursing and more than 10 discipline in post graduate program whereas the paramedical course include PCL in nursing. The academic session starts in month of August/September.

It also has separate laboratories, IT lab, Museum for Anatomy and Pathology, etc. Moreover, the college runs a hospital with well trained doctors and medical personnel which that are well-equipped with latest medical equipment. For the enrollment in various Bachelor level program, the candidate must have completed 17 years of age, completed 10+2 or ISC with 50% aggregate in English, Biology, Physics, chemistry and most of all, they should pass the entrance examination taken by Kathmandu University (KUMET) itself.

With the advancement in clinical fields, Nepal Medical College has become prime center for the skill development among medical personnel and is dedicated in the medical field to produce a good, competent and passionate doctor all the time for providing better health services.
