Situated at Paknajol, People’s Campus is a public owned co-educational private institution affiliated to the Tribhuvan University and the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) and was established in 2038 BS (1981 AD). The main building of the campus which is five storied with over sixty rooms was inaugurated by Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev on December 1993.

The college started off in 1981 AD by offering courses of the Tribhuvan University (TU) in Arts and Commerce at the Intermediate and Bachelor levels. Then in 1995, it introduced the +2 programs in science, commerce and humanities affiliated to Higher Secondary Education Board and later in 2000, it became the first community based campus to start the MBS program with affiliation to Tribhuvan University. Later in the year 2004, it started Bachelor in Business Administration program with affiliation to Tribhuvan University. The campus has been committed to provide quality education to the students so that they would be able to get better job placements in the national as well as global market.

The campus conducts frequent guest lectures and field trips in addition to its regular teaching and learning methods. The experienced and skilled professional faculty and staffs make the teaching learning more effective for the students. The campus has also received the prestigious Nepal Chamber of Commerce “Award for Excellence” for securing best results in the Management education many times.

The campus has also established “People’s Campus T.R. Bajracharya Gold Medal”, recognizing the contribution of Late Tirtha Ratna Bajracharya’s for the progress of the campus, to award the top students at the BA level. The campus has a wide area of about forty ropanies of land at Panchkhal and five ropanies of land at Sitapaila along with other necessary infrastructures and workforce secured by the assistance of the donors, dedication and efforts of the teachers and administrative staffs for the establishment of People’s School.

The major objectives of the colleges is to impart quality education to ensure outstanding educational career for the students, to enable the students to pursue higher education, to prepare competent middle-level and high-level manpower for national needs and to provide the students with the research skills necessary to succeed in today’s rapidly changing and diverse society.

The campus has the facility of audio-visual aids to make teaching learning interesting and effective, cafeteria facilities, campus bus for transportation facilities, computer laboratory, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, lectures by visiting professors and experts, parking space, up-to-date and well-stocked library well equipped and fully functional science labs. The campus takes admission on merit basis and also provides scholarships and awards to the deserving students, organizes seminar and talk programs along with field visits and trips and also provides student counseling for the welfare of the student.
