Established by a group of eminent businessmen from Kathmandu in the year 1994, Shree Investment and Finance Company Limited was established as a financial services company and a merchant bank under the Nepal Finance Company Act 1985 and Nepal Company Act 1964. Licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank as ‘C’ class Financial Institution, the company undertakes finance services and merchant banking activities in the country. Although established in 1994, the company commenced its operation on June 1, 1995 with an authorized capital of Rs 6400 lakh, issued capital of Rs 2000 lakh and paid up capital of Rs 1008 lakh. The company, keeping up with the growth targets, has kept increasing its capital base.



The company has been observing tremendous growth in both, its deposit as well as loan and advances sector every year and by the end of 2012, the number of its shareholders had gone above two thousand with its shares listed in Nepal Stock Exchange, its shares has further chances of going up. The company has been providing its financial and banking services through its two offices, one each in Kathmandu and Biratnagar, however, it also plans to geographically spread out its services to other parts of the country in the near future as well.

To keep up with the increasing and changing needs and demands of the customers, the company comes up with a new and advance outlook with the varieties of innovative products and services. The company merged with Everest Finance Limited in 2017 and now operates jointly as Shree Investment and Finance Company Limited.
