Situated in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, United College is a higher wing of United Academy established in the year 2058 BS. Established with the objective of offering courses on business studies and humanities through a scientific and disciplined approach, the college offers courses on Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Business Studies (MBS) with affiliation to Tribhuvan University.

A part of United Education System, the college strives to equip the students with the latest insight into the competitive world by making them more sensitive, sensible and responsible. The college has all the necessary physical and academic infrastructures required to enable the students to face all types of challenges and problems in future. United Education System is a complete institution which caters to the education requirement of the students from pre-primary level to post-graduate levels.

The college started its bachelors in business program with the objectives of developing conceptual knowledge of business and administration, developing required attitudes, abilities and practical skills in students, encouraging entrepreneurial skills in students to make them effective change agents in Nepalese society and to develop necessary foundation for higher studies in management and for careers in teaching, research and consultancy. The courses offered for bachelor program are three years Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program with affiliation to Tribhuvan University and three years Bachelors of Arts (BA) program with affiliation to the same university, started since 2064 BS.

The college that started the masters level program with the objectives of equipping the students with required analytical knowledge of business and management, producing managers in the functional areas of management, developing knowledge and skill of business environment in national and global perspective, encouraging entrepreneurial capabilities in students to make them effective change agents in the Nepalese society and developing research capability in the students offers Masters of Business Studies, a two years course affiliated to Tribhuvan University.

The college is well equipped with all the necessary infrastructures and facilities required for imparting quality education to the aspiring entrepreneurs and managers. The college also organizes guest lectures by some of the well known personalities in the field of business, arts, science, legal, judiciary, etc. to give the students more insights on the subject matter. The college also has a club named ‘United Club’ that involves the students and teachers for various indoor and outdoor games as well as students’ council activities. Besides these, the college also has a hygienic and clean cafeteria for the students to enjoy healthy meals during the breaks. The college also offers hostel accommodations for boys and girls separately to those who require it along with transportation facilities. Moreover, keeping in mind the health emergencies that might occur in the college, it has also set up a medical facility where the students will be treated for their medical issues. The intensive library and the fully functional computer lab of the college are excellent places for collecting resource materials to support their studies.
