One of the leading and renowned colleges in the Kathmandu valley, V.S. Niketan Education Foundation is reputed for the quality education it imparts to its students. It was established in the year 1981 AD as an effort of its Founder Principal Dr. B.R. Pokharel. The school, previously established as a primary school with few children living in the locality, it has, today, developed as one of the leading college situated in Kathmandu.

There was a time when the principal visited the locality asking the parents to enroll their children in his school and today is the time when the parents sent their children here without motivation from the college staffs or faculty. It is one of those rare educational institutions that provide academic services from pre-school to Bacherlor’s level. The physically as well as technically well equipped infrastructures assist it in completing its mission. The large number of dedicated faculties and staffs have played vital role in increasing the reputation and quality of the education in the institution.

It not only has school and college at one location but three schools at different places that impart quality education to the children from class three to ten. The +2 level education (science and management) of this institution is the largest in the country with high number of students enrolling in it. And, it has also been success to give good results with students scoring well in the final exams taken by the Higher Secondary Education Board. It also offers BBA program with affiliation to Pokhara University and the program was started in the year 2000. Besides that, it also provides BA and BBS programs. In the year 2008, it launched V.S. Angel’s World International Montessori School with an aim to impart quality education to the children with a care tailored to individual student. It aims to upgrade its programs to Masters Degree.

Established initially as a local school, V.S. Niketan Education Foundation has been able to establish itself as a national institution and has been successful to make a mark in the education field of Nepal.
