Established with the objective of providing quality health education in the field of nursing, medicine and lab, Vinayak College of Health Science was set up with the aim of meeting the ever growing demand of middle level health workers in the country. Committed to impart both quality education and training to the young students who aspires to become health professionals not only in Nepal but also in other countries, the college focuses on meeting the nation’s requirement first in order to make the country a healthy nation.

The college was established in the year 2003 AD realizing the need of the a place to produce adequate number of middle level health workers necessary for all levels of health care delivery system in the country. The college, with its commitment and dedication to provide quality health services in the country, is affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for its academic programs and Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) and Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) for technical programs.

Committed to provide maximum clinical exposure to the students, the college also has few centers to make the clinical practices of the students easier and convenient. Some of the clinical centers associated with the college are Vinayak Hospital and Maternity Home in Gongabu, Maternity Hospital in Thapathali, Trishuli Hospital in Nuwakot, Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, Kanti Pediatric Hospital in Maharajgunj, Central Pathology Laboratory in Teku, Sukraraj Tropical and Epidemiological Hospital in Teku, Mental Hospital in Lagankhel, Nepal Eye Hospital in Tripureshwor, Nepal Orthopedic Hospital in Jorpati, HRDC Hospital in Banepa, Om Mechi Hospital in Damak, Janamaitri Hospital in Balaju and different PHC, Health Post, SHP and communities under District Health Office in Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu.

With these institutions and clinical centers to support its practical education, the college not only provides quality theoretical knowledge to the students but also help them gain practical knowledge of the subject matter. Also, recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal, the college has been successful to create a reputation for itself in very short period of time. The college offers academic courses for Nursing, Medicine and Laboratory Sciences.
