Saathi Ma Timro is a Nepali movie directed by actor Bhuwan KC which depicts the story of a struggling producer and his son. The movie also touches the sensitive issue of father-son relationship. The character of the son, as a child is played by child artist Shirshak Sapkota. The movie has Bhuwan KC and Shrishak Sapkota on the lead roles with the special appearance of Anmol KC, Bhuwan KC’s son.

The movie presents the story of a struggling producer named Avishek who wants to fulfill his father’s dream but on his journey, he loses everything, his house, his car, his luxurious life including his wife Puja (Richa Ghimire) and is left with his son Anmol (Shrishak Sapkota) who is unaware of these incidents. He is on his way of fulfilling his father’s dream and is set to produce the movie named Sathi Ma Timro giving it his hundred percent and turning it into a masterpiece rather than just another film. During this period, a struggling actress Ashmi (Rekha Thapa) gets attracted to him, however, fails to express her feelings for him. It is for audiences to find out if Avishek will be able to fulfill his father’s dream or not and if Ashmi will be able to express her feelings or not.

The movie with a heart touching story is enjoyable and the audiences will stay glued to their seats until the end of the movie. The music director has done an appreciable job and so has the cinematographer. The dialogues are touchy and effective making the movie good in terms of presentation, story and performance. However, with its strengths, too, the movie fails to excite the younger generations. Moreover, the end of the movie might as well disappoint you. The movie has all the elements required for a mainstream Nepali movie and the major strength in the movie is the perfect chemistry between the two leading characters, Avishek and his son Anmol. The movie with all shades of emotions is a good watch if you want to catch up on some emotional Nepali flick.
