Dhuwaa Yo nasha

The concept and the story of the movie are good. The movie has mainly focused on the youths of the city area and has tried to show the negative impact of drug but it seems to lack in many aspects. The drug search character played by Avi does not reflect a real life drug-user’s characters. It seems that director Laxman Rijal has not done a proper study on drug users and their characters. The story of the movie is very disjointed and some scenes are unnecessarily elongated. The viewers get bored and even the first half of the movie does not seem to be anywhere near being interesting that may motivate the viewers to watch the second half. The performance of both the actors is average and the movie does not have anything to woo the youths. However, the song “Badhana Badha…….” by Sanup Paudel is somewhat better.

Overall, the director fails to meet the expectations of the audience. The movie and the characters do not deliver any targeted message through Dhuwaa yo nasha. So, if you ever come across this movie, it is recommended that you do not watch it, however, if you simply want to waste your few hours, you might as well give it a shot.
