Established in April 3, 2001, Kumari Bank Limited was the fifteenth commercial bank in Nepal. Established with an objective of providing competitive and modern banking services in the Nepalese financial market, the bank has the paid-up capital of Rs. 1,603,800,000 of which seventy percent is contributed from promoters and remaining from the public.

Keeping in mind the convenience of its customers, the bank has also started the service of Visa Electron Debit Card that is accessible in entire VISA linked ATMs, including thirty five of its own, and Point of Sale (POS) terminals in both Nepal and India.
