Established in 1987 in Nepal as a joint-venture, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited is an integral part of Standard Chartered Group that has ownership of 75 percent in the company with 25 percent shares owned by the Nepalese public. The largest international bank, Standard Chartered is currently operating in Nepal.
