Established in the year 1986 AD, Suryodaya Secondary School is an English medium co-educational institution promoted and operated by a team of highly experienced and qualified faculty members committed to make an immense contribution in the field of education. The school has well stocked library and a fully functional computer laboratory to assist the students in finding course as well as reference materials for supporting in their studies. Moreover, it also has separate science labs well equipped to perform experiments and test theories that the students have learned in their theory classes. The school also offers transportation facilities to the students living in different parts of the valley through its comfortable vans to large buses. The school also provides the opportunity of enrolling the students from the age of two and half years at its pre-school so the students would be able to socialize and prepare to start the literacy classes when they come to age three.
The school also provides separate hostels to boys and girls where they are kept under strict observation of responsible and experienced hostel wardens. The teachers take the aid of audio visual means for imparting education to the students with the belief that these means could be more helpful in making the students understand the subject matter and also keep them interested in the class and topic. Student Counseling as well as teacher- parents relations are also given importance at the school for better performance and care to the students.
